Bob began his financial planning career in 1986. He quickly ascended to a leadership position, spending 25 years as the branch’s Executive Vice President. During his management tenure, Bob recruited, trained, and managed as many as 90 financial professionals and support staff, transitioning a small, local office to one of the largest financial planning firms across the Capital Region, Hudson Valley and Western Massachusetts. In 2016, Bob retired from management to focus exclusively on his personal financial planning and wealth management practice, in partnership with the members of Sequoia Financial Group.
Focused on educational and professional development, Bob holds his Charted Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designations. Bob also remains highly engaged in the capital markets, current events, and the investment planning process. Bob and his wife, Susan raised their three children in Clifton Park and now reside in Lake George, New York. They enjoy spending their time skiing, hiking, biking, attending rock concerts, traveling, and relaxing on the lake with their family and friends.

The Retirement Planning Specialist title is awarded by Equitable Advisors, based upon the FP’s receipt of a Certificate in Retirement Planning from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. In a collaboration between the Wharton School and Equitable Advisors’ affiliate, Equitable Financial Life Insurance Company (NY, NY), coursework for the certificate was developed exclusively for Equitable Advisors FPs, and the title may be used only by FPs who have completed the required coursework and maintain the title through ongoing continuing education requirements.
